Mimi Dorhauer – Education Team Leader

Sunday School participants meet in person the 4th Sunday of each month. The children leave worship with Mimi after the Children’s moment and spend the rest of the morning in class with each other.

During the weeks we do not meet in person, the children use a take home journal and a weekly worksheet as a way to do at home faith formation. The journals are discussed when the class meets at the end of the month for their in person gathering.

Additional plans for this year include:

• adding an adult educational unit
• restarting our summer Vacation Bible School program
• planning a retreat for the women of the church
• organizing a youth mission trip

Sunday School Class

We have an active Sunday School class that meets during worship on the second and fourth Sundays of every month. All children are welcome!

Vacation Bible School

During the summer, we select a week and invite all children of all ages to join us for a wonderful time of exploration, faith formation, crafting, music, and so much more. Last year’s theme was Creation Care. Our children spent the week learning about God’s care for all of creation, and our responsibility to be good care-takers of the Earth.
