Pastors Emiritus

This year our Fellowship Ministry Team planned a long-awaited celebration honoring four beloved pastors. The Revs. Jane Anne and Bill Moore, Judith Harris, and Joe Gastiger were all bestowed the honor of Pastor Emeritus. This was in recognition of their time as Pastors at UCC DeKalb – and for their enormous contributions to the ongoing health and vitality of the church.

Fellowship Ministry

Our Fellowship Ministry Team organizes a weekly reception with light snacks and drinks in the Narthex after worship every Sunday. This time is a light-hearted gathering of conversation with our worshipers. It is a wonderful way to end our Sunday services and to delight in each other’s company.

The Fellowship Ministry also organizes various events throughout the year, including our soup dinners on Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday. This last year they hosted a marvelous gathering after worship honoring our four Pastors Emeritus.
